Dr Liz Greene is an internationally acclaimed personality, scholar and teacher.
An American-British astrologer, psychologist and author, she has been one of the most consistently popular astrologers of the 20th century, co-founding with Howard Sasportas, the Centre for Psychological Astrology in London.
She is also an AJA graduate and has practiced clinically as an Analytical Psychologist, and recently accepted the invitation to become an honorary member of AJA in recognition of her contribution to Analytical Psychology.
She has written several astrology books based on Jungian psychology and other forms of depth psychology, contributing to an application of astrology called Psychological Astrology. Almost all of her many books remain in print.
In addition to giving frequent lectures and directing a certificate programme in psychological astrology, Liz has continued to produce many books, many with direct reference to Jung’s psychology, notably ‘Jung’s Studies in Astrology: Prophecy, Magic, and the Qualities of Time’, and ‘The Astrological World of Jung’s ‘Liber Novus’: Daimons, Gods, and the Planetary Journey’. Some of her other influential books include ‘Saturn: A New Look at an Old Devil’, and the philosophically-inclined ‘The Astrology of Fate’, ‘The Outer Planets & Their Cycles: Astrology of the Collective’, ‘The Luminaries’ (with H. Sasportas) and ‘The Dark of the Soul’. Newer titles include: Chiron in Love: The Astrology of Envy, Rage, Compassion and Wisdom The Wessex Astrologer (2023).
Liz was also involved in the centenary celebrations of Jung’s Polzeth seminars at the inaugural Jung by the Sea event in 2023, and her seminar is available online as part of the video on demand programme, and will shortly be running a new course on astrology for AJA
